At Journey we believe in a whole approach which means fitness coaching, nutritional counseling and recovery.
An important part of recovery is sleep. There is a problem affecting the sleep of about 100 million people and that problem is called sleep apnea.
Sleep apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts. If you snore loudly and feel tired even after a full night's sleep, you might have sleep apnea. The main types of sleep apnea are: Obstructive sleep apnea, the more common form that occurs when throat muscles relax.
Of the 100 million people that sleep apnea affects only 10% of those people end up being diagnosed. And what's worse than that is other associated health effects of sleep apnea. This sleep problem can truly compound. Take a look at the diagram below for a list of associated health risks
At Journey 333 we recognize that it is beyond our scope to solve every health problem but that doesn't mean we won't search for the resources. I took time to meet with Dr Richard Dunn so that I could bring you the information that you need to address this life threatening sleep problem.
Be sure to listen to this video. You will not only learn to treat sleep apnea which will help you recover better but you could be avoiding many other health related problems. https://youtu.be/BS2uaUeRx10
