We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and especially important fitness milestone. Why so much celebrating?
Well, the answer is this… because we love you.
See, at Journey333, we call you our fit fam. That means you're part of the fitness family.
In fact, for a guy like me, I have a small family. You, as a member of Journey333, you've become my extended family.
So what does family do for one another? Well for one, they love one another. But they also celebrate one another.
They celebrate birthdays, they celebrate anniversaries, they celebrate important accomplishments. So that's the number one reason why we do it, because you're now part of a family.
The second reason we celebrate so much is because it's actually a pretty big factor in keeping you motivated. It's crucial to celebrate the small wins along the Journey toward your big goals.
If you don't take time along the way to look back at how far you've come and recognize that you're going to lose momentum, you're going to lose your motivation.
So it's really important to your motivation to actually stop and say, "look at this, this is where I started and now I'm here; I only have this much further to go."
Sometimes you have less distance to go than how far you've already gone. How motivating is that to think of?
The third reason we celebrate so much is because you're a part of community-based training.
Community-based training is where we get to train in a group and reap those benefits of the group atmosphere.
One major benefit of training in a group is that you’ll be pushed a little harder. You have other like-minded individuals surrounding you, encouraging you to push a little faster, go a little harder, get that extra rep in, etc.
When we celebrate someone else's success, you begin to think about your own success.
You may start to say to yourself, "hey, I can do that too. If this person can do it, so can I."
That's what the celebration is all about.
The celebration is because we love you.
The celebration is because we want to keep motivating you.
The celebration is because we want to show you what you’re capable of.
When you see someone else achieve something, let it inspire you to keep pushing toward your goals.
Keep celebrating your success and the success of others.
It will keep adding to the motivation that you need to get to your goals.
