Journey333 has partnered up with Ingersoll-Rand Federal Credit Union in order to better serve our community! We are all about serving our members the best way we can.
Check out how IRFCU is serving our youth and bringing real life, hands on experience to our local schools!
We have a special opportunity for you! We're offering you 21 days of life transforming group personal coaching!
That's right, you'll have a chance to workout besides your IRFCU staff! What better way to build community than that?!
The challenge will run from March 11th through April 2nd.
This 21 day challenge will consist of teams of 3-5 people. The results will be based on greatest percentage of body weight lost for the team.
There will be special opportunities to earn advantages for your team along the way, as well as some special prizes... aside from the grand prize! The grand prize (cash) will be determined on the number of registrations.
We are so excited to kick off this new partnership with this...
Dr. Brian Cassetta, MD, is a graduate of Georgetown University and now serves our local community, as a specialist in Internal Medicine.
When Dr. Cassetta started seeing some amazing changes in his patients, he had to know what their secret was.
Here's what Dr. Cassetta had to say:
"I have been referring my patients to Journey for high intensity interval training and dietary advice for the last 5 years. I have seen tremendous results.
I have seen weight loss of up to 100 pounds. 20 to 50 pounds is not unusual. I’ve seen patients cured of diabetes, hypertension and sleep apnea.
I’ve seen couch potatoes turn into athletes. Many people realize their dream of running a 5K or 10K for the first time.
There is certainly a huge role for medications and procedures in modern medicine but there is nothing that I can prescribe that matches the benefits of diet and exercise.
About 10 months ago I became...
Hey Fit Fam!
This week I wanna talk to you about a word that not many people like...
You see, I know that we have a great program here at Journey333.
I am certain that our program design is the best that there is.
I've actually been mentored by the best in the industry and incorporated all the best gems into this awesome program design that we have for you.
So, I'm certain about our workouts.
I'm certain about our nutrition; it's medically backed.
It comes to us from Bert's Pharmacy in Sayre, P.A. They have used it to get people off medications; they have used it to bring people's metabolisms out of the gutter.
So, I'm confident in our nutrition.
When you have a good program design and you have nutrition locked in, the only thing that can be missing is whether or not you're letting us keep you accountable.
You know us at Journey, we're crazy.
We have whats called...
Today I want to talk to you about my favorite topic. It's coaching.
I am a coach through and through.
I am a coach at heart.
Even as I get pulled away from coaching at times because of the different responsibilities that come with having multiple locations, I still make sure that there's some amount of coaching on my schedule.
I love to coach.
Let me ask you something. Do you know where that word comes from? The word "coach?"
It actually comes from the olden days when they had stagecoaches. The point of the stagecoach is to take you from where you're at to where you want to go, right?
That's what a good coach should do.
A good coach should help you to assess where you're at. We do this, at Journey, through medical screening. We do this through different types of assessments. We do it through a little goal setting conversation where we say, "Hey, what is it that you'd like to accomplish?"
And sometimes people don't know.
I want to talk to you about a word that makes everybody skeptical.
That word is supplements.
I don't blame you if you're skeptical when you hear this word, because supplements are not even regulated by the FDA. You really have to do your homework in order to understand if you can trust a supplement.
But here's the thing. There's really only four ways to help yourself get to your fitness goals.
There are many kinds of supplements out there. There's a pill for anything these days. Let's start with a couple that we'll both agree right away that are necessary.
At Journey333, we love celebrations.
Our favorite thing to celebrate? YOU!
We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and especially important fitness milestone. Why so much celebrating?
Well, the answer is this… because we love you.
See, at Journey333, we call you our fit fam. That means you're part of the fitness family.
In fact, for a guy like me, I have a small family. You, as a member of Journey333, you've become my extended family.
So what does family do for one another? Well for one, they love one another. But they also celebrate one another.
They celebrate birthdays, they celebrate anniversaries, they celebrate important accomplishments. So that's the number one reason why we do it, because you're now part of a family.
The second reason we celebrate so much is because it's actually a pretty big factor in keeping you motivated. It's crucial to celebrate the small wins along the Journey toward your big goals.
If you don't take time along the way to look back at how...
You’re not alone…
More than 90% of New Year’s Resolutions end in failure.
Think about that: You have less than a 1 in 10 chance of success — a lottery ticket might be a safer investment than another resolution this year.
The truth is stamping the New Year’s Resolution label on another lofty goal is the equivalent to giving that goal an immediate death sentence.
By transforming your goal into a resolution, you’re handing it a one-way ticket to the graveyard with your New Year’s Resolutions of yesteryear (#RIP).
If your resolution is somehow still intact come March, that’s some serious overachieving: 80% of resolutions are already out the window by the second week of February.
And if you’re doing the math, that means less than half of the 20% of resolutions still barely hanging on in February will be donezo well before the year ends…
I know I’m coming off as negative (and as a total numbers nerd), but my...
‘Tis the season for New Year’s Resolutions...
Excuse me as I let out an excruciatingly long sigh.
Raise your hand if you’re sick of hearing “new year, new me.”
This annual effort to become better is bogus. It’s an excuse to wait on implementing life-changing habits and extend the holiday hangover.
So, let’s analyze the process and find out what you should do instead of creating another New Year’s Resolution.
You dropped the ball in the past, but this year is going to be different — no thanks to another New Year’s Resolution.
It’s time to make real goals, set actionable plans, and kick the crap out of the new year.

Don’t kill the messenger, but there is no single workout that can instantly transform your body.
Anyone who is telling you they can blast love handles and get you a six-pack in a quick session or 2 is spewing lies (they will literally take your money and run).
However, there are guidelines you can follow to optimize the speed of your results...
With a touch of consistency and the right routine, you can get to looking (and feeling) your best quickly as you prep to squeeze into that wedding dress, strut your stuff at a holiday party, get vacay-ready, or show off for friends, family, and coworkers.
Since time is of the essence, let’s dive in. Keep scrolling to get our expert guidelines for fast results...
Despite what the general public does, pounding away at the treadmill is not the best way to get lean (remember, you came here for expert tips)...
Your best bet is to commit to a blend of cardio and strength training...
Is insecurity creeping up as you prepare for an upcoming event? Gatherings like weddings, vacations, holiday parties, and reunions should be exciting times — not dates on the calendar you’re dreading.
We get it. You’re on a tight deadline to drop a few pounds, ditch the flab, and tone up so you can strut your stuff and radiate confidence on the big day. After all, the friends, family, and even strangers in attendance will certainly be checking you out (and of course, some will be judging).
You won’t get anywhere without cleaning up your nutrition. We know that doesn’t sound groundbreaking, but ultimately, it’s true. If you’re on a deadline to drop some pounds, kickstart the clean-up by eliminating processed carbs like chips, candy, and white bread. As delicious as they are, they don’t do your health (let alone your...
